Air HES (Hydro Electric Station) is a device created by Russian scientist Andrew Kazantsev that aims to collect and use cloud power. Kazantsev took notice that we are using wind, water, and solar power as renewable energy sources and his goal is to prove that cloud power can also be used and can be just as effective.
The machine is a tethered blimp that captures water from the clouds with a mesh that hangs from the blimp and sends water to a hydropower plant on the ground using a conduit attachment. The built prototype has been able to collect a gallon of water in about 1 hour.
The mission of the Russian team is to provide clean drinking water and electricity to impoverished parts of the world. They claim that cloud power is better than hydropower because it does not require expensive dams. With cloud power‘s system of wireless transmission
