AgriRover
Using the same technology as NASA’s Mars Rover, the AgriRover is utilized in precision agriculture. This new technology comes in handy for farmers and dealing with agricultural problems on a much smaller scale. It is hard to detect inconsistencies in the soil and surrounding conditions. With the help of the AgriRover, levels of certain elements, such as Potassium, Sulfur, and Acidity, can be measured at a more precise level.
The AgriRover hopes to become more eminent within the next 10 years, operating day and night in all types of weather. It is intended to work autonomously throughout the field and gather real-time data for the farmers to use, and solve the issues of inconsistent soil conditions and paddocks.

This little guy reminds me of a farmer I once interviewed that had cut a hole in the floorboard of an old farm vehicle so that he could plunge a probing pole into the soil at various areas of his fields and get samples. Too bad this innovative tool wasn’t around. Thanks for the info.
